This is a platform created for and by Somali Professionals, Entrepreneurs/Business Owners as well as University Student to connect, engage and share valuable experiences, ideas, and knowledge. The objective of this group is sharing of relevant market intelligence in Kenya, North America, UAE, Qatar and Australia. We have sister groups in all those countries, through those platforms we connect and network/ mentor among Somali professionals and Businesses.

Our desire to create such a platform was born out of the need to bridge the gap between our professionals successful Somalis and our youths who are new graduates or university students. The aim is to link them to mentors in their fields of choice.

We have partnered with Red Cross Kenya to launch a mentorship and career clubs in all north eastern high schools where we will have our members visiting such schools giving them talks about excelling in life through education. We tend to address the out of hand hopelessness and neglect.

This is the second session since its onset and as the first of its kind was just an introduction of the idea by the founders. The session has been allotted to the Somali legal fraternity to take the lead in the meeting. As the tradition of the organizational idea, we shall have couple of speakers to share specific professional experience, his or her views and viability of the profession and inspire to the participants. Participants will be from across the existing fields. This session is geared towards networking and resource mobilization for future activities at the same time facilitation of the committee.

The session will take place at a coffee/dessert organized by Connect coffee team.
