Finally! The second cohort of Embu young farmers training came to an end on 19th February 2021. The informative two weeks course equipped the trainees with the proper knowledge and skills to venture into the world of coffee.  In addition, the trainees confirmed having a wonderful experience and some of them have started putting into practice what they learnt from the training. “My experience during the training was wonderful. I am confident that pruning, proper spraying and nutrition will help me to increase coffee yields in my farm ” – Avril, one of the trainees. ” I did not know that cutting down my old coffee bushes in my farm allows growth of strong and vibrant sucker for more yields in coming years. But now I do thanks to the training. ” – James, also a trainee
